Citation database

The database provides link data, and also answers questions such as:

  • What papers refer to the current paper (forward linking)?
  • Which are the most frequently cited papers? etc.
The database is structured with the following tables:
  • Reference table:  
    • reference text (e.g. [1] Z. Bern, et al. Phys. Lett. B401:273
    • metadata extracted from the references 
    • reference ID (e.g. 1, 2 ... an assigned integer) 
    • source paper ID (e.g. arXiv:astro-ph/0001001) 
    • feature ID (e.g. v4:p20:y1999
  • Publication table: 
    • metadata from the archive data provider 
    • feature ID 
  • Abstract table 
    • source paper ID, article title, abstract 
  • Links table: 
    • source paper ID, reference ID, target paper ID
